MISSION

The Product Planner reports directly to the Product Planner Manager and is responsible for:

  • Support in the development of the assigned model. 

  • Grant the definition of the product briefing coherently with customer requirements. 

  • Ensure the interaction with both Engineering and Sales Departments. 

  • Ensure, throughout the Product Development Process, the accomplishment of the product targets. 

  • Support pre-launch and launch activities. 



RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
 

  • Define segment, body, launch dates, user target and competitor basket. 

  • Contribute to the briefing to Style Dept. and Product Development team. 

  • Contribute to the definition of commercial parameters (volumes, prices, optional contents by market). 

  • Support to Press & Communication initiatives: define product configurations for International Events & Auto Shows; participation to Press Events with journalists from all over the world. 

  • Contribute, after the commercial launch, to the positioning and to the lifecycle of the products on the market to support the achievement of share, volumes and profitability targets. 

  • Analyze product evolution opportunities and needs from markets, customers and trends. 

 

REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Five or more years of experience within product marketing, engineering or sales.

  • Knowledge of automotive. 

  • Relevant experience in product marketing (preferably in automotive industry).

  • Business acumen. 

  • Deep passion and understanding of automotive.

  • English proficiency, knowledge of other languages as a plus. 

  • Ability to work in cross fuctional teams with exposure to senior leaders.
